Talk is cheap, I'll beleive that stuff when I see it. Sony and Microsoft have said stuff in the past and then bungled it in execution many times before.

Ultra has plans for doing some maps in the future, for now just pair it with your wads of choice. Super Mayhem 17 is a good oneSo like, does that treasure tech mod have a levels pack or anything to go with it? it has this really cool tutorial map, and then it just throws you into vanilla doom 2 afterwards?
i get like, running it with custom maps or whatever, but this one seems like it should have maps designed specifically around the mechanics.
I was using an older version of CCleaner before they got bought out and got shitty, but that makeuseof link pointed me to a program called bleachbit which is pretty much Ccleaner but under the GNU public license, so thanks, that's a load off my mind.
Treasure Tech is really fucking good.
Go play it
I use an older version of CCleaner to clean out bullshit like my cache, recycle bin, and a bunch of other temporary crap every so often in one go. If there's an alternative, I wouldn't mind hearing it

Well I'll ask that too. It's all absurd. Why isn't this question asked whenever they provide a 750bn billionaire bailout? That's 2500 dollars for all Americans, which is basically two months of the previous stimulus check.

I'd be fine with another check too, but wouldn't there be some issues coming from monthly checks like this? The money has to come from somewhere.I'd be perfectly fine with another check. Might should do it on the regular, automatically like, say monthly even.
Hell yes.

Dude, that's what advertising has ALWAYS been.
I hate how advertising has become a science in manipulating people to think about or buy their shit.
I can't believe Marphy doesn't like those rye chips.
It's a small one but I updated an NES Metroid mod of mine today

Oh and why the fuck is there a switch grenade key if there's only two bomb types? I would have preferred a frag grenade button and an ice bomb button.

I feel like they went heavyhanded with nerfs and balance tweaks in general, micro missiles are useless, default melee attacks are useless to prevent double tapping mooks and to put more emphasis on the blood punch, they removed the stun bomb from the plasma gun because it was too good in favor of microwave beam which is too situational and awkward to be of any real use.
I feel like the chainsaw is overdesigned too seeing as it recharges fuel but only to one pip and chainsawing non-mook enemies is a waste, even moreso when you get the crucible. Why can't we chainsaw bigger lads when they're in a glory kill state?hugo went out of his way to make sure micromissiles weren't as useful because he probably saw people using them too much in 2016 and got mad at how fun and memey they were
I know I haven't been posting much, but I've been working on a Zelda 1 set for Combined_Arms, I got the wooden sword and bow in, along with the boomerang, bombs, candle, and some special arrows for the bow. Now I've been working on the crissword from the cartoon:

Really I think they're just staggering from indignancy seeing as I refuse to give them a proper fight.I really hate the marauder, it totally ruins the flow of combat. They should've just made it a one off boss fight.

It's still a daft choice and shows how fucking wonky the system is. I feel like the bloodpunch is a result of overdesigning melee attacks. Because later on when you get the upgrades that converts overheal and overarmor into blood punch energy it cycles back around to becoming a non issue and you're blood punching shit really often.Standard quick melee does insufficient damage because the game demands you to do more than just run up to a zombie for free health.
Once you get into the rhythm of shooting a couple or so Heavy Cannon shots into them it becomes a non-issue.

The chainsaw doesn't work based on enemy health, it goes by enemy category, you can see monsters are categorized by tiers in the codex, fodder boys take one chainsaw pip, and bigger lads need more fuel to chainsaw. Basically save the saw for chumps to get ammo, don't actually use it as a weapon.
The biggest one is that ammo capacity is WAY too low. I shouldn't be needing to chainsaw something every 30 seconds so I'm not running out of ammo. In addition to this the fact that the chainsaw does literally nothing to enemies that have too much remaining health can make things really dangerous. For example you'd think that a flashing staggered enemy could be chainsawable. But there's no guarantee. Several times I got completely wrecked by a hellknight or cacodemon because of that shit.
thanks to gamestop selling the game a day early I've been binging it for the past couple hours, it's very good. The only thing that sucks right now is you can only carry 16 shells to start with so I'm gonna be focusing upgrading ammo capacity quick.
mark's just spouting bad takes in the hopes of getting more spotlight on him when he releases that "sequel" of Brutal Doom he has planned.
I'm broke and jobless, but I've been pushing myself harder with my art and modding shit. Once I get all of the modding stuff done I'll be moving on to making little standalone games. I'm too damn stubborn to let this get to me, and I'm optimistic this shit will get sorted out, humanity as a whole is stubborn like that.
I'll be honest. That dev diary leaves me really wary, too much talk of online experiences, boosters, and the cosmetics. They've went on record saying they're not gonna charge for this stuff, but the whole thing seems sketchy to me.

It's funny, this trend originally started with Demonsteele, and Term did it as a quick way to identify bug reports because dorks would pair Brutal Doom with his mod and shit would break. Saved him a lot of headache and confusion when someone submitting a bug report also mentioned how a swarm of tiny invincible golden skeletons punched them to death. My favorite part of Brutal Doom is other mods putting in countermeasures for Brutal Doom.
I always thought the goomba stomp kill in Doom 4 was hilarious, not to mention one of the most fun to pull off, glad to see it added here.
Nice work on the sword there. Best one I've seen yet.

The exact link where you got this from could possibly help too, just to make sure I'm grabbing the right thing I don't think you need to buy a license, since it's from Microsoft themselves but I'll let you know once I download Windows 10 since I'm doing the whole setup thing right now.

I'm looking at the page right now, I think, and it's mentioning you still need to buy a license, I could just be on the wrong page or not looking too deeply into this. They didn't stop offering free upgrades btw, they are done now through the "Media Creation Tool" on Microsoft's site for Windows 10 installation media instead of Windows Update in which the same program was distributed.
I'm too damn poor to upgrade.
Civvie is right, Halo marked a turning point when shooters started getting dumber and more scaled down. I don't blame Halo though, I blame everyone following in Halo's footsteps and trying to mimic Halo at a surface level but neglecting the other shit like the monster and weapon variety.

I disagree, Maridia was great on my first playthrough years ago when I was a kid, the place was huge and spooky, I got lost a lot and in doing so I stumbled across Shaktool, and the Springball. Lower Norfair I don't like as much admittedly, even to this day but once you figure out the right path you can blitz through it. After replaying the game so many times the place I hate going through on repeat playthroughs is Tourian, that's where it stops being interesting for me, as it's just a simple gauntlet of a few Metroids to kill, a scripted event you can potentially skip, and then of course the Motherbrain herself. First time going against her is memorable as hell but it sure does suck fighting her after so many times seeing as she's got a threshhold on HP where you can't damage her further until she blasts you with the rainbow beam. i've just finished playing through super metroid again. the later half of the game really drops in quality. made me think of how good of a game ocarina of time really is.i can't believe its been 20 years since i first played it. its such a huge part of my childhood and while it seemed so much more grand and amazing at the time and in my memory, it still holds up as a masterpiece that i can go back and play time after time and not have it feel tedious.
It's been an interesting decade for me, just a few years ago I picked up doom modding and realized that I want to pursue my old childhood dream of making video games, and doing all of this doom modding stuff has helped me realize that I'm capable of making vidya, maybe nothing on a huge scale, but I can do this. This year has been a bit of a rollercoaster though, I'm not sure how close I was to having some serious problems from a bad case of appendicitis back in June, the nurses had told me that thing was gangrene when they got it out of me, and I lost my job back in August, and still unemployed.
But on the other hand, in this year alone my skills as an artist has grown quite a bit, and I earned myself a sword during an SCA event for showcasing outstanding chivalry out on the field.
Overall I'd say I've grown stronger from this decade, and I'm ready to face 2020 with the same determination I've gained in the past couple years.
